We are looking forward to ...

... teaching you the basics of Alpine skiing such as balance, basic position, gliding wedge, wedge turns, and safe controlling of the skis
... introducing to you various different types of slopes and snow such as powder snow, slushy snow, wind packed snow, bumpy slopes, moguls but also steep slopes as well as terrain
... teaching you either how to carve in a dynamic but challenging way or to show you some advantages how to manage to go down slopes with as little effort as possible for that it is more economical.

Levels of abilities
1 BEGINNER - little with no previous knowledge: getting used - sliding – gliding wedge
2 KURVEN »wedge turns« - taking the lift – going down blue slopes
3 CARVEN - BASIC wedge turns to a stop – linking wedge turns – get to know the Alpine security measures– first steering with the help of uphill edge – save skiing on red slopesn Pisten
4 CARVEN - ADVANCED parallel skiing (long radii) – basic elements of modern carving-techniques - carving in long radii with speed control
5 CARVEN - TOP carving (longer & shorter radii) – dynamic change of direction - precise carving in short radii- skiing on black slopes
6 CARVEN - EXPERTS ultimate perfection of technique - Fun Carving, Race Carving & race training – skiing on steep slope, downhill in powder snow areas, corn snow slopes, moguls – different versions of slopes, free-riding, New School Skiing

For an outstanding dynamic within the group we recommend to you a one- week- course (which lasts either 5 days), end of course on Fridays

Recommendation of equipment

Length of skis (roughly): beginner breast height, advanced skiers shoulder height, experts roughly at chin height (plus or minus 10 cm) Binding: slight increase of frame, helmet!

Arrangement of groups

Mondays from 9.45 am
Newcomers at advanced level may join the group every day
Newcomers at beginners level may join the group on Mondays.

Cours hours

Beginners: every day (except Saturdays) from 10am – 12am
Advanced skiers: every day (except Saturdays) from 1.30pm to 3.30pm

Meeting point

Adults beginner/ newcomer- at the entrance of Albin’s park for kids, at the right hand side next to the office of the ski school/ Alpine Centre
Adults advanced skiers – right next to the entrance of the lift station at the “ski school flags”
